Iconic brand Barbour International have been producing motorcycle clothing since the 1930’s, almost as long as motorcycles have been around themselves. We based this capsule collection around Barbour’s involvement in the International Six Day Trials races where they were the official supplier of the British racing team from 1937-77. The chequered pattern, most commonly seen on race flags, has been a consistent design element through out the history of motorcycling. For this design we enlarged the cheques giving them a more contemporary graphical look and teamed them up with dual branding in our House Style. The subtle yet striking design manages to be both very classic and contemporary at the same time, something we strive for at Bolt. We designed this top to be slim fitting to give a smart silhouette.
