Following on from our Basics of Mechanics Course, the intermediate gets to grips with more complexed mechanical work, aiming to build confidence, skills and understanding to be able to diagnose and fix common issues with your bike. The course groups sizes are kept to a minimum to allow for more hands-on learning and time for personal tuition.
Held from 7pm to 9pm on Thursday evenings, over the four weeks you will learn everything from taking apart and reassembling the clutch to changin fork seals, wheel bearings and other practical skills. The course is taught by George from esteemed Ducati specialist Ray Petty Meccanica, and is one of team behind custom builders Death Machines of London. The course will be held in their garage at 1 Peterboat Cl, London SE10 0PX.

Understanding and diagnosing the issues of dragging and slipping
Clutch adjustment
Rebuilding the clutch (dry & wet)

Rear wheel removal and installation
Wheel bearing - check and replace

FUEL SYSTEMS / Carburettors
Understanding the fuel system
Carburettor removal, cleaning and replacement
Week 4
Suspension
Front wheel and fork removal
Fork leg disassembly and seal replacement
